BIGNEWS:  Joominspiration.com is now JoomlaInspiration.com! JoomlaInspiration has also been updated and powered by Joomla 1.7.  We are sporting a new template, but same look and feel. Templates Inspiration has been brought back alive.

New domain name

Joomlainspiration.com is the new domain name.  We have always had the domain name but prefeered joominspiration. We will see if the domain change will help us in search rankings.

Powered by Joomla 1.7

JoomlaInspiration was using 1.5 and we were eagerly wanted to move to 1.7, but this is a K2 powered website, so there was no option to update until recently.  As soon as K2 became (RC) I instantly started to transfer to 1.7.  Instead of just upgrading from 1.5 to 1.7 we started with a fresh install instead.  We ran into slight problems and found it better to start fresh than having any 1.5 unnecessary files or tables in our new site.

Different template, same look

The old template was Hybrid by Rocket Theme.  There was a lot of customization in order to get the look we wanted.  The new template is Camber from Rocket Theme, and required less customization to get the same look because the template is very verstile.
